Asante Kotoko have signed right-back Emmanuel Sanja from Vision FC on a three-year deal ahead of the 2026-27 Ghana Premier League season.
The 18-year-old completed his move on Tuesday after passing a medical examination, becoming the latest addition to the Porcupine Warriors' squad as they prepare for the new campaign.
Sanja enjoyed a breakthrough season with Vision FC, making 25 Ghana Premier League appearances while scoring three goals and providing two assists.
His performances also earned him five Man of the Match awards and a call-up to Ghana's Under-23 side, the Black Meteors.
Speaking to the club's official website after completing the transfer, Sanja said joining Kotoko was an easy decision because of his ties to Kumasi.
"It was not a difficult decision to join Kotoko as it is where I am from and where I completed my senior high education. It felt like returning home after a long holiday," he said.
"Kotoko is always an attractive club for most young players and I am prepared to play my best football for the club that my family supports."
Kotoko will begin their 2026-27 Ghana Premier League campaign away to newly promoted Debibi United as they look to mount a strong challenge for domestic honours under new head coach Eric Tinkler.
