President John Dramani Mahama on Saturday commissioned four new MI 171 SH Helicopters with the assurance that government would provide all the logistics for the military to execute their domestic and international assignments.

Westrock Quarries Limited, a leading quarry company in the Shama District, has assured residents and communities in its operational area that it had taken steps to reduce drastically excessive dust and noise pollution.

President Mahama says the State of the Nation is strong despite some challenges. Addressing the 5th Parliament of the 4th Republic on the state of nation, President Mahama highlighted achievements made in Education, Energy, Health, Agriculture and in the Security Services.

President John Mahama this afternoon inaugurated four state of the Art MI-171 SH helicopters and an ultra modern logistics warehouse for the Ghana Air Force. These facilities are in fulfillment of government's commitment to retooling the military.
