The United States congratulates President John Dramani Mahama and the people of Ghana for the successful election on December 7.

Scores of supporters of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) have thronged the partyÂ’s headquarters, singing, chanting party slogans and calling on the leadership to challenge the results declared by Dr Kwadwo Afari Djan, Chairman of the Electoral Commission.

President John Dramani Mahama on Monday stated that his victory in the just-ended general elections was not for him as the President of the republic nor the members of the National Democratic Congress but for all Ghanaians.
