The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has supplied referees with new equipment and training materials to support their work during the 2026/27 football season.
Officials working in the Ghana Premier League have received two pairs of boots, three sets of officiating uniforms in different colours and three warm-up uniforms each.
The initiative is part of the GFA’s continued investment in the working conditions of match officials, ensuring referees have the equipment needed to meet the demands of the new season.
The distribution also reflects the association’s ongoing support for referees and assistant referees under the leadership of GFA President Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku.
The GFA said the provision of the equipment forms part of its wider efforts to improve the welfare, professionalism and preparedness of match officials across its competitions.
