German-Ghanaian defender Joshua Quarshie is being linked with a move from Southampton to Austrian club Sturm Graz.
The 22-year-old centre-back joined Southampton from Hoffenheim in July 2025 in a deal worth €3.5m, but has yet to feature for the Championship club this season. Quarshie has made no appearances in either of Southampton’s two Championship matches or their two EFL Cup fixtures during the current campaign.
Sturm Graz are being linked with a move for the defender as they look to add to their squad in Austria’s Bundesliga. Quarshie’s current market value is listed at €4m, although no proposed transfer fee has been reported.
The Duisburg-born player spent the second half of the 2024-25 season on loan at Greuther Furth before returning to Hoffenheim, where Southampton completed his permanent transfer. He had previously spent time on loan at Fortuna Dusseldorf during the 2023-24 season.
Quarshie, who stands 1.96m tall and can play at centre-back, remains under contract at Southampton until 30 June 2029.
