Favara bring in Ghana winger Samuel Mone Andoh for Serie D campaign

Ghana winger Samuel Mone Andoh has joined Favara from Sicilia FC on a free transfer, adding a left-footed attacking option to the Italian club’s squad. The 24-year-old completed the move on 26 August 2026 and has signed a contract running until 30 June 2027.

Andoh operates primarily on the right wing and joins Favara, also listed as ASD Castrumfavara, ahead of the club’s Serie D - I season. Standing at 1.79m, he is a naturally left-footed player who can provide width from the right side of the attack.

The move follows a spell with Sicilia FC, which Andoh joined in October 2025. His previous competitive experience came in Kosovo, where he played for FC Prishtina and made appearances in the Superliga e Kosoves and Superkupa e Kosoves.

During that period, Andoh recorded four appearances and 124 minutes in the Superliga e Kosoves, while also featuring once in the national cup competition. He was part of the FC Prishtina side that won the Kosovan championship in the 2020-21 season.

Andoh’s route to FC Prishtina began with a free transfer from Zein United in April 2021. He remained associated with the club until July 2022, before later moving on to Sicilia FC and then making his latest switch within Italy.

His arrival gives Favara an attacking player with experience of football in both Kosovo and Italy. The change of club also marks the next stage of Andoh’s career after his time at Sicilia FC, with his new deal securing his place in Favara’s squad for the 2026-27 campaign.

Born on 24 July 2002, Andoh represents Ghana and has been registered as a right winger throughout his senior career. His move to Favara was completed without a transfer fee, and the contract is in place until the end of June 2027.
