Dreams FC head coach Winfred Dormon has revealed that the club's preseason preparations have centred on building the players' physical and mental strength ahead of the new campaign.
Speaking to Dreams FC Media, Dormon explained that the opening phase of preseason is designed to improve fitness while also giving the technical team the opportunity to assess new players and conduct squad screening.
According to the coach, the players have been put through a demanding training programme that includes beach sessions, mountain workouts, gym exercises and on-pitch drills to establish a solid foundation for the season.
Dormon noted that the team will soon transition from physical conditioning to technical and tactical training, with greater emphasis on game strategies as the preseason progresses.
The Dreams FC boss believes this gradual approach will ensure the squad is fully prepared for the challenges of the upcoming Ghana Premier League and FA Cup campaigns.
With the league fixtures already released, Dormon said the club has also begun evaluating its opponents as it fine-tunes preparations for what he expects to be another highly competitive Ghana Premier League season.
