Youngster Shawkan Mohammed has expressed his readiness to fight to help Aduana Football Club challenge for trophies.
The former Accra Lions midfield star signed for the Dormaa-based side on July 13 and will be playing an important role for the side in the upcoming 2026/27 football season.
“Aduana Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of Shawkan Mohammed on a long-term contract,” the Ghanaian club said in a statement early this month.
Despite being at the club for a short period, Shawkan Mohammed has indicated that he has settled in well with his new teammates.
“Joining Aduana FC has made me very happy. I’m confident they will help me take my football to the next level.
“The energy around the team is very positive, and I've adapted very easily because of how the old players have welcomed me. I’m determined to help Aduana FC fight for every trophy,” Shawkan Mohammed told Aduana FC TV.
In the interview, the exciting midfielder further urged the supporters of Aduana FC to back the team and attend matches when the new season commences.
He believes this is crucial to help the team win trophies at the end of the campaign.
“I will appeal to the supporters to always come to our matches because without them we cannot achieve what we want to achieve,” Shawkan Mohammed added.
