Brondby IF sporting director Julius Ohnesorge says the club's decision to part ways permanently with Ghanaian striker Emmanuel Yeboah was made in the best interests of both parties.
The 23-year-old completed a permanent transfer to Romanian side CS Corvinul Hunedoara after returning from a season-long loan spell at Swedish club Halmstads BK.
Commenting on the move, Ohnesorge said Brondby maintained open communication with Yeboah throughout the process before agreeing on a solution that would allow the forward to continue his development.
"We have had a good and open dialogue with Emmanuel throughout the process, and therefore we are also pleased that together we have found a permanent solution that gives Emmanuel the best opportunities to continue his development," the sporting director said.
"It is a solution that we assess is the right one for both parties, and we wish him all the best in the future."
Yeboah joined Brøndby from Romanian giants CFR Cluj in the summer of 2023 but found opportunities limited, making just 10 appearances for the Danish club.
He subsequently spent loan spells at fellow Danish side Vejle Boldklub and Swedish outfit Halmstads BK in search of regular first-team football.
The permanent move to Corvinul Hunedoara marks a return to Romanian football, where Yeboah will hope to revive his career after two challenging seasons in Denmark and Sweden.
Brondby's decision brings an end to the striker's two-year association with the club as he embarks on a fresh challenge in Romania.
