The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has issued a public warning against a company called Match Experience Hospitality (MEH), located at F43/6 Labone Crescent, Accra, following a formal complaint from FIFA's legal representatives.
FIFA has confirmed that MEH has been promoting and selling World Cup 2026 ticketing, hospitality, and travel packages without any official authorisation, accreditation, or endorsement from the global football body or its designated commercial partners.
The GFA, acting on FIFA's request as its affiliate in Ghana, is urging all football supporters and stakeholders to exercise extreme caution before making any financial transactions with the company or its associated platforms, warning that doing so is entirely at their own risk.
FIFA has described MEH's activities as potential ambush marketing that could mislead the public and undermine the integrity of its commercial structures. In response, FIFA has filed a petition with the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service to investigate the matter.
The GFA is encouraging the public to use only official FIFA ticketing and hospitality channels for World Cup-related purchases.
"The GFA reiterates its commitment to protecting the integrity of football operations in Ghana," the Association stated, adding that it would continue working with FIFA and relevant authorities to safeguard Ghanaian football fans.
