Black Princesses captain Linda Ansah has sealed a move from Ghanaian champions Ampem Darkoa Ladies to Canadian side AFC Toronto, marking a significant step in her career.
The talented midfielder has signed a two-year deal with the Toronto-based club, with the transfer fee undisclosed. The move sees Ansah become the latest Ghanaian female footballer to ply her trade in North America.
Ansah has been a key figure for Ampem Darkoa, helping the NanaMma side dominate the domestic scene and represent Ghana in continental competitions.
Her leadership and composure in midfield have also made her an indispensable asset for the Black Princesses.
The 22-year-old will now look to make an impact in the Canadian league as she embarks on a new chapter. For AFC Toronto, securing the signature of the Ghana captain is a statement of intent as they continue to build their squad.
