The Ghana U-20 women's national team has commenced preparations for their crucial World Cup qualifier against Uganda in the qualifiers for the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup.
The team held their first training session at the Accra Sports Stadium on Thursday, April 30.
Head coach Charles Sampson supervised the session, putting the 23-player squad through a series of drills focused on endurance, ball retention, defensive organisation, wing play, and finishing.

The Black Princesses are targeting an eighth consecutive qualification for the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup, which is scheduled to take place in Poland in September.
Ghana will face Uganda U-20 women's national team in the first leg of the final qualifying round on Sunday, May 3, 2026, at 15:30 GMT, with the match set to be played in Accra.
The Princesses will then prepare for the reverse fixture scheduled for May 9, 2026.
